WHERE COMMUNITY BECOMES FAMILY
OUR STORY
In 2015, our Founding Pastors, Scott & Beth Harms believed God was placing a burden on their hearts to plant a church in the city of Franklin, WI. For a year, they dreamed, fasted, gathered family and friends & started building community with their Launch Team.
We were able to secure a meeting space in the gymnasium of Forest Park Middle School, where for 2 years we worshiped weekly. Our team bonded over having to pack & unpack our equipment trailer! In the Summer of 2018, we began looking for a more permanent place to call our own.
We soon found a two-level office space on Forest Home Ave. that we spent several months renovating and converting into what is now our worship space!
In 2021, after 5 years of sacrificial service & ministry to Root River Church, Scott & Beth resigned from their leadership role and allowed for their then youth pastor, Juan Carlos Zaragoza to be elected as RRC’s new Lead Pastor.
RRC continues to pave its future with the three core values it was planted on: Word. Worship. Community.
